III International Music Competition
DEBUT CONCERT in Elbphilharmonie
VIOLIN / CELLO / VIOLA / VOICE
The competition is split into four categories – Violin, Viola, Cello and Vocals. Our wish is to give young promising musicians a chance to perform in the legendary Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg in collaboration with Digital Orchestra by Golikov. This debut is supposed to attract the attention of the musical community and help to promote young musician’s career. Elbphilharmonie Hamburg is among the most significant concert halls in the world. The jury consists of internationally renowned world-class musicians, who can already look back at their own successful career. We are welcome violinists, violists, cello players and singers from all over the world!

Rules
Applicants born after September 9th, 1982 can apply.
One piece of your choice, written for violin/viola/cello/voice and orchestra, between 10 and 45 mins. long.
A recorded video of your performance of chosen work (accompanied by an orchestra or a pianist, in a studio or live recording) must be submitted as YouTube- or Vimeo-link, DVD, USB-Stick etc. or another media available for download. The video must be submitted before December 1st, 2020. Multiple applications from the same person performing different works are allowed (application fees apply separately).
Deadline
The application deadline is November 9th, 2020. Applications are accepted online. The video-recording of your performance may be sent separately from your application, but no later than by December 1st, 2020.
Application fee
The application fee is 120 EUR. Please transfer the application fee in full amount before November 9th, 2020.
The Debut Concert
The Debut Concert will take place in the concert season of 2021/2022. The competition winners in each category will perform with Digital Orchestra by Golikov in the Grand Hall of the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. The exact date of the concert will be announced on January 1st, 2021 along with the competition’s results.
